Thumper Mini Pro Massager
The Mini Pro is designed for use in professional health care offices as an all-around robust and durable massager. It delivers a full strength percussive massage that penetrates deep through all fascial layers. It’s ideal for warming up muscles, increasing blood flow to the area being treated and releasing muscle tension.
Its long handle allows users to treat themselves at home. The Mini Pro is ideal for reaching areas like neck, shoulders and mid-back. This product is excellent for self-use. Weighing only 1.4 kg (3 lbs), it’s easy to take with you when you travel.
With three electronically controlled speed settings at 20, 30 and 40 pulses per second, the Mini Pro can be adjusted to treat all muscle groups and patient preferences.
The proven Thumper® drive system propels two anatomically-designed massage spheres up and down a full 1/4″ (6 mm) to deliver the deep penetration of tapotement. The Mini Pro directs 95% of the energy into the muscle tissue, resulting in virtually no kick back to the handle and its user. It’s easy to hold, maneuver and operate. No need for oils or lotions. Thumper works through clothing, providing flexibility for use in all clinical, professional and home environments.
A deep tissue massage, with no work: Thumper Mini Pro does the work, not you. Just “park” Mini Pro on your shoulders, legs or back. No need to add pressure or dig in. Rest the Mini Pro on your shoulders to release tightness caused by daily stress. For blissful relief of tired, aching feet, simply place Mini Pro on a couch and relax your feet against it.

Really gets deep into your tired and aching muscles without any pain. You can feel the difference after a session. Okay to use on your own unless you have a problem with your wrist as the massager is not light to hold. Have tried various brands of massager and this is the best so far. Its not cheap. so only buy if you have tried the cheaper brands and were not satisfied. If you can afford it, buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I was somewhat sceptical about these type of massagers, but after a session with a physio who used one of these on me in conjunction with acupuncture, I was convinced I needed one of my own.
I now use it on a daily basis for an ongoing lower back problem with great effect. I no longer have to get out of bed in the middle of the night due to back pain. It will never replace professional treatment, but it is a very effective complementary treatment you can do yourself at home.
The actual item is very well designed. Not too heavy, not too light. You don't need to exert any extra pressure other than the weight of the device, meaning you can apply it to all areas of your body yourself using just the weight of the massager alone. The only downside is the recommended 20 minute running time, Although this should be sufficient for most people.

This is a good machine. It saves me a lot of money on physio bills. However, its not so easy to use on your back. it works best if you can get someone to hold it for you.

Excellent! My Chiro was using it! Can't get a better recommendation than that! Gave four stars as its a but heavy to handle but have worked out how to use it lying down! I love it!

I decided to buy the mini pro thumper because my Chiropractor often uses the Thumper in my treatment. It is pretty effective for loosening tight muscles and knots, especially in hard to reach areas or bigger muscle groups - like the gluts.
It is no substitute for a real massage but regular use does offer meaningful relieve (I tend to use almost every night -and sometimes in the morning, for 5 or more minutes).
I would recommend it as a good buy if you play sports or to have tight (or chronic) muscle tension.

I'm a clincial massage therapist and prefer not to use tools but this is useful for clients who are just so tight on the back and glutes that it does save time by loosening the tissue so I can really get in there to sort out trigger points. However it is quite heavy and awkward to hold, and I can't use it for long or my hands start to go a bit tingly and numb. Not sure it was worth the investment for me to be honest as I don't use it very much, but I can use it on myself in places which is nice.

This is the third mini-thumper pro I have purchased over the years. We really put ours through a daily work out since both of my sons have neuromuscular problems and this is one of the few things we have found that helps. I also purchased the professional model with 8 balls. I like that, but it is too much for them as they have low muscle mass. The mini thumper has only two balls, or heads and is very easy to focus on a small trouble spot (example: point of attachment for various hip ligaments). I have tried other massagers before the mini thumper pro and they all pale in comparison.

My partner regularly suffers from back pain and her chiropractor recommended that she used the Thumper mini pro at home to help reduce the muscle stiffness in her back. I bought the Thumper Mini pro for her birthday and she has used it several times and is really impressed with the results. She also said that it is easy to use and does help to relax the tightness and pain in her back.
